Welcome to my review of Italian Football !
Well the season in Italy is over an Juventus have triumphed in Serie A. This season has seen some fantastic football and its not over yet, infact it was so close at the bottom of the table that a playoff will be played to decide who is the final team to be relegated alongside Como, Torino and Piacenza ! And even at one point during Sundays week 34 matches it looked like ther could be another playoff to decide the final UEFA Cup place !
I watched Juventus vs Chievo and as imagined Juventus fielded a weaker side to keep the star players fresh for the Champions League Final. The game was immense. Chievo came out and attacked at Juventus as they aimed for a spot in europe next year. The game finished 4-3 to Juve, which meant Chievo missed out on a european spot which was unfair as they deserved one. Oliver Bierhoff (chievo) bowed out on a fantastic career by scoring a hat-trick.
